Successful first edition of Bricktopia in Horst
Bricktopia took place for the first time in Horst on Saturday 13 July and Sunday 14 July. In the Mérthal there were 54 exhibitors and vendors in total.
In total, around 200 metres of tables displayed the constructions from members of the LEGO® association Dutchbricks. Three exhibitors had jointly created a city with moving trains, the exhibition measuring 3 by 13 metres. Other themes were also on display, such as Ninjago, Technic, Creator and Scala. A variety of sets were exhibited, as well as many of their own creations, such as a LEGO® version of the Frans Hals Museum.
Sellers offered loose bricks, but also complete sets, even sets that were no longer in production were part of the offering.
On Saturday we were allowed NU Horst aan de Maas en Radio Horst aan de Maas Welcome. Both media channels wanted to take photos and were provided with information about the construction work by the organisation.
We can speak of a successful event and a good number of visitors. Once again, thanks to everyone who helped in any way with Bricktopia Horst.
