Report of the regional final
On Saturday 25 January 2025, the exciting regional final of the FIRST LEGO League Limburg held. Under the theme ‘Submerged’, young people challenged themselves to devise innovative solutions concerning water, sustainability, and maritime technology. This event, where creativity, technology, and collaboration come together, was once again a great success.

FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is a global educational programme that inspires children and young people in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEAM). It combines fun with learning through challenging tasks such as building and programming LEGO robots, devising innovative projects, and fostering team spirit. With hundreds of participants in Limburg annually, FLL is a unique platform to stimulate talent development and prepare young people for the future.

This was our first time attending the FLL regional final in Limburg as a society. A number of members acted as judges, and for participants and visitors, some members displayed part of their LEGO® collection. A sort of mini Bricktopia to supplement the main programme during the regional final. See the photos for an impression of what was exhibited.
