You can register as a participant from 1 August at 12:00 until 15 November 2026 at 18:00. Members of Dutchbricks can register by logging into their Jumperplate account. Not a member of Dutchbricks? Please complete the registration form for non-members (via the link below).

Watch out! This is a pre-registration. Registration does not yet guarantee a place as a participant in Bricktopia World 2027. The organisers will announce by the end of December 2026 at the latest whether you have been definitively accepted as a participant.

Participant appreciation 2025

Following Bricktopia World 2025, we asked participants and volunteers for their views on this first major edition of MECC Maastricht. As an organisation, we have taken the suggestions and highlights provided on our evaluation form to heart. Drawing on the experience gained in 2025 and the feedback from participants and volunteers, we will do everything we can to ensure that the 2027 event is another fantastic one.

This event is being organised at the MECC in Maastricht. It is an attractive venue offering plenty of opportunities to make Bricktopia World a great success once again.

Dutchbricks has decided to move within the MECC for the upcoming edition, from the Expo Foyer to the Noordhal. This means that in April 2027, we will have more space for participants and visitors. Click on the MECC logo to view the space in 360 degrees on the MECC website.

1 August 2026: Pre-registration starts

From now on, registration is possible. This can only be done online via the Registration form. You will receive a confirmation once your pre-registration has been received by us.

Available space
We are only asking you to reserve the space you genuinely need to present your constructions properly. We will try to facilitate as many exhibitors as possible, but it will be first come, first served. Therefore, if you are exhibiting a collection or individual constructions, you may ultimately be allocated slightly less space than requested.

Registration for themes and MOCs
When you register, we ask you to provide a detailed description of your constructions and/or MOCs, so that we can arrange everyone’s exhibits in the hall in the best possible way. We also aim to present a diverse range of high-quality exhibits at Bricktopia World. You may therefore be asked to replace a select number of your builds or MOCs with alternatives, for example because a particular theme is already well represented at the event.
15 November 2026: End of pre-registration for exhibitors and vendors
November & December 2026: Assessment of registered exhibitors and vendors

The organisers will assess which exhibitors and sellers will be permitted to take part in Bricktopia World 2027.

When there is insufficient space or an inadequate number of tables available, the organisers will be obliged to make a selection between the different participants (both exhibitors and vendors). The selection of participants who can exhibit or of vendors and the allocation of floor space will be carried out based on the following four criteria (priorities):
1. Own creations (MOCs)
2. Sponsors
3. Set of collections
4. Sales

Registration for themes and MOCs
When you register, we ask you to provide a detailed description of your constructions and/or MOCs, so that we can arrange everyone’s exhibits in the hall in the best possible way. End of December 2026: Confirmation of participation

The organisation will contact everyone who registered via pre-registration, and you will then receive confirmation as to whether or not you may participate. You will also be informed of the amount of table space you will have available at the MECC, based on the preliminary room allocation.
January 2027: Sales meter payments
March 2027: Information letter & announcement of the final room allocation

The organisation will send an information letter to participants explaining all practical and organisational matters regarding the event.

The final area allocated to each participant will be announced by the organisers. Participants undertake to adhere to the specified areas.

In 2025, alongside our own Dutchbricks members, Bricktopia World was also attended by participants from the LEGO® User Groups (LUGs) and associations listed below, from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. We are very much looking forward to seeing who we will be welcoming to the MECC in 2027.

When is Bricktopia World?

Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 April 2027.

On Saturdays, visitors are welcome from 10.00 to 18.00. On Sundays, we start at 09:00 with a low-stimulation hour, and the session ends at 17:00.
When can we start building?

As our team will need to set up the tables first, you can expect to be able to come and set up your structures on Friday between 13:00 and 22:00. Please note: not all tables may be in place yet, so you may have to wait a short while.

On Saturday, the doors open at 06:00 and you can set up until 09:30. At that time, we’ll begin with our opening speech, and at 10:00 the doors will open to visitors.
How do I indicate that I wish to participate both as a seller and as an exhibitor?
How do I pass on the details of a group layout and its participants?

In a group layout, one participant is ultimately responsible. This participant must therefore provide all the requested information about the layout itself at the time of registration.

Please ensure in advance that you clearly agree amongst yourselves who will register as the person with (ultimate) responsibility, as otherwise we will miss out on important information about your plans and will be unable to assess the substance of your application.

The other participants who are part of the same group layout must also register separately as participants (but do not need to fill in all the information relating to the layout themselves). This ensures that we have the necessary basic information for everyone who will be attending the MECC as a participant.
How much does a sales stand cost at Bricktopia World?
With regard to the rates for sales stalls on Bricktopia World, we distinguish between private and professional sellers.

Private seller:

A person who has more LEGO® than they need and offers it for sale on a one-off or occasional basis, in this case to visitors at a trade fair;

A choice of a sales stall measuring up to 6 linear metres in length and up to 75 cm in depth;

Price per metre per day: €40.00;

Sales space behind the stall, per linear metre per day: €15.00.

Professional salesperson:

An individual or business with a VAT number who holds a stock of LEGO® intended solely for sale;

A choice of a sales stall measuring up to 10 linear metres in length and up to 75 cm in depth;

Price per metre per day: €50.00;

Sales space behind the stall, per linear metre per day: €15.00.

Is there a power supply for our structures?

We will provide power sockets near your stand if you have indicated on the registration form that you require electricity for your structure(s).

You are responsible for routing the power supply from the connection point to your building. You are not permitted to apply for a power connection if it is not intended for the building itself, but is used solely for charging personal devices.

What are the agreements regarding the phasing out?

Dismantling of your exhibition may only commence at 5:00 PM on Sunday evening, in order to give the last visitors a full experience.

The request is to leave everything as neat as you found it. We also ask you, as a participant, to help fold the cloths and bring the tables to the collection points.
Are expenses reimbursed by the organisation?
