Bricks have been laid by the truckload, both during joint club afternoons and at home, and thousands of minifigs have already taken their place in the audience.<\/p><p>The stage for Andr\u00e9 Rieu's Vrijthof concerts is already well underway with scaffolding, and now more and more details are ready too. The same applies to the buildings on the Vrijthof. During the club afternoons, time-consuming tasks such as the many trees, walkways between the audience, and pavements have been built. It may not sound exciting, but these are important elements to truly bring the Vrijthof to life in LEGO\u00ae form.<\/p><p>During the joint build day last Sunday, 23rd February, the entire 4 by 4 metre layout was set out for the first time. This was an important test for the build in May at the MECC, but also good to see once again if all the plans and structures are indeed placed correctly.<\/p><p>We also had journalists from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.limburger.nl\/regio\/sittard-geleen\/munstergeleen\/zelfs-andre-rieu-kan-genieten-van-een-lego-versie-van-het-vrijthof\/43351431.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Limburg Daily Newspaper<\/a> en <a href=\"https:\/\/rtvmaastricht.nl\/nieuws\/artikel\/lego-club-dutchbricks-bouwt-lego-versie-van-rieus-vrijthofconcert\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RTV Maastricht<\/a> on a visit. They were very curious about our community build and made a nice report about it. Both were published earlier this week. The video from RTV Maastricht was also taken over afterwards by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.l1nieuws.nl\/nieuws\/2864450\/vrijthofconcert-nagebouwd-in-lego\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Regional broadcaster L1<\/a>. Dat klinkt niet spannend maar het zijn wel belangrijke elementen om het Vrijthof echt tot leven te brengen in LEGO\u00ae vorm.<\/p><p>Tijdens de gezamenlijke bouwdag afgelopen zondag 23 februari is voor het eerst de gehele lay-out van 4 bij 4 meter uitgelegd. Een belangrijke test voor de opbouw straks in mei in het MECC maar ook goed om nog eens te zien of alle plannen &amp; bouwwerken ook echt goed op het plek staan.<\/p><p>We kregen gedurende dag ook journalisten van <a href=\"https:\/\/www.limburger.nl\/regio\/sittard-geleen\/munstergeleen\/zelfs-andre-rieu-kan-genieten-van-een-lego-versie-van-het-vrijthof\/43351431.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dagblad De Limburger<\/a> en <a href=\"https:\/\/rtvmaastricht.nl\/nieuws\/artikel\/lego-club-dutchbricks-bouwt-lego-versie-van-rieus-vrijthofconcert\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RTV Maastricht<\/a> op bezoek.
